The latter is certainly true for us. We were thrust into the world of Autism after our son Mitchell, now 12, was diagnosed back in 2001.
We realize that, due to the high costs of therapies, many families are unable to provide the early intervention their children so desperately need. Our goal of the Mitchell A. Callahan Autism Foundation is to provide financial assistance to help bridge this gap.
We are constantly looking for ways to add another piece to the puzzle - but we can't do it alone. Please join us in our efforts to raise Autism Awareness.
The Lil MAC Golf Tourney is held annually in Augusts at Oakhurst Country Club in Grove City, Ohio. In 2009, we raised more than $24,000. We hope to make 2010 even better!
