Lochlan Wade
Lochlan Wade

"Our son Lochlan was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2 and a half years old. My wife and I were thrown into this world of Autism not knowing where to start. We just knew there had to be some kind of treatment to help him. A month later he started ABA therapy. Six months into the therapies we noticed little changes and improvements. After about a year of ABA, Lochlan started using sign language, PECS, and pointing as his main way of communication. Lochlan can now follow simple task and acts like any other kid his age. He’s come a long way, but still has a long journey ahead of himself."

Marissa Diamond

Marissa Diamond"Marissa is an AWESOME kid: funny, intelligent, beautiful, and hard-working. Like most children on the Spectrum though, she has daily hardships to overcome. Now with the financial support that the scholarship has allowed us, we can continue to give Marissa the therapeutic tools to help overcome those trials. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Alex McCaffery

"Our entire family wants to thank you for the wonderful and generous donation towards the continuing education of our son, Alex. We consider Alex and his growth today a direct result of intensive and aggressive early intervention. He has made huge strides over the last year and a half. When we applied for your scholarship, he was involved in a 32-hour/week program called CHIP through St. Vincent's Mercy Children's Hospital that uses a multidisciplinary approach to serve preschoolers on the Autism Spectrum."

Nikki Wu

Nikki Wu"At The Jungle Gym I am working on learning to do a cartwheel, my instructor says I'm fearless on the balance beam, and just last week I climbed all the way to the top of the rock climbing wall! My mom is checking into some classes at the community center. I'm thinking about a course to teach me some easy ways to calm my body and make me feel better when I get frustrated. They also have some art classes that sound really fin. Because of your help, I might even be able to do both!"
